CADthinkers is a student-run organization located in local aftercare programs around Dallas, TX. We teach our students the wonders of CAD, or computer aided design, where they can make any idea imaginable, into tangible reality.
CADthinkers explore the world of design using powerful tools like TinkerCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360. Through these computer-aided design programs, students craft unique creations in response to real-world challenges posed to them every week.
Once student designs are received, CADthinkers' 3D Printing Studio springs into action. Leveraging remote printing technology, the studio brings these imaginative designs to life. Within just one week, CADthinkers students hold their custom creations in their hands.
CADthinkers' social media platforms showcase the best designs each week. Alongside these highlights, we shine a spotlight on a relevant humanitarian cause that each student's creation addresses. We provide resources and information to encourage both creativity and compassion, fostering a community that makes a positive impact.
As a student run organization, CADthinkers hopes to foster creativity and innovation by involving other students. As of now, volunteering positions are only open to highschoolers. However, CADthinkers is open to having collegiate & adult mentors to guide the organization further. If interested in mentorship, please email us at info.cadthinkers@gmail.com.
