Our Mission

Our organization is dedicated to empowering elementary and middle school students by fostering their creativity and problem-solving skills through 3D printing. With portable trollies touring aftercare programs, as well as established chapters conducting weekly lessons at schools around Dallas, TX, CADthinkers is committed to providing an engaging and accessible experience. We strive to nurture a passion for critical thinking and equipping the younger generation with skills that are essential for future careers. Our mission is to inspire young learners, cultivate their curiosity, and ignite a lifelong love for innovation and technology.

What is CAD?

Computer-Aided Design, or CAD, is a digital technology that allows users to create precise 3D models. CADthinkers uses TinkerCAD, a child-friendly software which makes 3D modeling accessible to all. The software's efficient and intuitive design allows our students to translate their imaginative thinking into actual products. Beyond its playful applications, learning CAD is a gateway to future career opportunities, specifically in engineering, product development, architecture, and manufacturing.

CADthinkers Program Overview

CADthinkers is a dynamic student engagement program deeply rooted in aftercare programs across the Dallas Metroplex. Geared towards students aged 6-10, our program empowers young minds with the art of Computer-Aided Design. Through weekly interactive lessons, CADthinkers students embark on a journey where they can bring their own toy and project ideas to life in our 3D Printing Studio! We offer two distinct engagement systems:

Portable Trolley: Our mobile unit can be brought to your school or event, providing captivating CAD lessons that kickstart children's exploration of CAD.
Local Montessori Chapters: We collaborate with local Montessori programs, offering weekly lessons in CAD and Robotics design.

Through weekly challenges, CADthinkers keeps young minds engaged. We present real engineering challenges and encourage students to unleash their creativity in designing innovative solutions to real-world problems.

“[The CADthinkers Team] has helped our children at TLC to learn and design 3-D printed toys. Our children enthusiastically wait for [them] before each class to design and create. Each class is well structured with designs and proper lesson plans. [They] also ensures that [they] help out by investing part of [their] income to some of our lower income students. Blessings to [them]. “

Tanvi Gupta
Founder & CEO

Hi! I'm Tanvi. I have always been a creative spirit. Since I was very young, I found joy in creating cardboard spaceships, bridges, and cities. As a child, you would always find me in a room filled with scraps of paper, safety scissors, tape, and my new invention sitting by my side. Over the years, I have evolved and developed my tools of creation from simple cardboard and paper to high-level programming languages, 3D printing, computer-aided design, and Arduino. My passion for innovation led me to start CADthinkers, a program aimed at fostering creativity in younger generations and building a community passionate about innovation.
